Have it settled in your hearts and minds that if God is for you, no one can be against you.
The above assertion emerged from Pastor Tosin Sowemimo of The Fountain of Life Church (TFOLC), Ilupeju, Lagos, while ministering during the second service of August 20, 2023.
Speaking from Romans 8:31, 35–38, the clergywoman stressed that the need for the settlement cannot be overemphasized, as there would undoubtedly be diverse events and occurrences that would question one’s conviction and beliefs.
She espoused that getting to a place of persuasion and conviction requires deep thoughts and careful considerations to properly align with the greatness and wisdom of God.
Reading from Deuteronomy 29:29, the cleric cautioned that there are questions that will never be answered no matter the rationale behind such, just as she encouraged that it is prudent for each one to be content with what God has revealed, which is the Word, rather than seeking to unravel the things that He has classified as secret.
The Pastor warned that delving into the secret things could be dangerous.
Quoting from Romans 11:33 and Isaiah 55:8–13, Pastor Tosin Sowemimo highlighted that the excellence of God’s wisdom and greatness surpasses any human comprehension and interpretation.
She warned of the futility of asking questions like those made by Job and his friends.
“Always remember that you are merely a man”, she declared, even as the cleric brought attention to the importance of her message.
In encouraging the congregation, she stated that it is imperative not to be discouraged by the event of the passing unto glory of the Senior Pastor of the Church, Pastor Taiwo Odukoya, just as she declared that all the words spoken by him in prophecies, prayers, and declarations of faith concerning everyone will certainly come to pass.
Pastor Tosin Sowemimo further maintained that there are few absolutes with men, but the reverse is the case with God.
“As such, while there are possibilities of failures or coming short with men, God has never failed.
“There is no evil or wrong in our God. It is impossible to input any wrong in Him because He is Holy, True and Good”, she said.
