The main auditorium of The Fountain of Life Church (TFOLC), Ilupeju, Lagos, witnessed a vibrant convergence of guys, girls, games, and God at the Monday, February 12 Valentine’s Special event organized by the Senior Pastor of the church, Pastor Jimmy Odukoya and his Assistant, Pastor Tolu Odukoya-Ijogun with the Singles fellowship.

The event which was tagged G4 presented an evening filled with camaraderie, entertainment, and spiritual enrichment.

Kicking off with a delightful cocktail reception at 5 p.m., attendees mingled and anticipated the unfolding festivities.

As the clock struck 6 p.m., the programme commenced in earnest. Pastors Jimmy and Tolu orchestrated the proceedings, inviting five enthusiastic participants from both genders to engage in the first game: a spirited Praise and Worship competition.

Following the spirited musical interlude, the atmosphere buzzed with excitement as the crowd witnessed the competitive energy speed toast, where selected gentlemen and ladies vied for the coveted title of the best-proposed couple.

The winners were rewarded with a sumptuous dinner for two, courtesy of the organizers.

The entertainment continued with a soul-stirring performance by gospel artist Angeloh, who captivated the audience with his melodious tunes.

Amidst the musical fervour, anticipation mounted as attendees eagerly anticipated the chance to win recharge cards through the lightning-fast reflexes of the “fastest finger.”

A brief interlude for mingling ensued, allowing participants to interact in a series of structured encounters.

Over the course of 15 minutes, individuals engaged in five rounds of brief conversations, each lasting three minutes, with a different person of the opposite sex.

Animated discussions ensued as attendees shared their impressions of newfound acquaintances.

Culminating the evening was an engaging questions and answers session where attendees had the opportunity to seek wisdom and guidance from Pastors Jimmy, Tolu, and Kunle.

While some questions were addressed on the spot, others were earmarked for the following week’s gathering on Monday, February 19.

In conclusion, the event turned out to be a resounding success, fostering connections, camaraderie, and spiritual growth among the vibrant community of singles within The Fountain of Life Church.
