The Thursday Showers of February 8 was another beautiful opportunity for worshippers to gather for the Showers service, with many testimonies of God’s faithfulness.
The service, which was full of testifiers returning glory to God for supernatural interventions, saw the Senior Pastor of The Fountain of Life Church (TFOLC), Pastor Jimmy Odukoya, while ministering to worshippers, declaring that God might look like He is delaying only for Him to act suddenly.
Referring to his message shared a couple of weeks back on Expectation, he charged the congregation to allow their expectations to be high during the service.
“Do not allow anyone or any circumstance to stop you. Like the woman with the issue of blood, like Nicodemus, do not be stopped until you get to the Master.
“Just make up your mind. As long as God is in the vicinity, reach out to Him, do not look at your bank account, do not look at your situation, just reach out to Him,” Pastor Jimmy said.
Describing God as the One who never loses a battle, who sees and knows everyone’s needs, who was not voted into power and cannot be impeached, and who does great and mighty things, the Senior Pastor told his listeners to believe their matters are settled because nothing is impossible with God.
The cleric said: “What is impossible with man is very much possible with Him. So, shift your mindset and expectations because it is done. It doesn’t matter what the situation is, it is already done.”
He, therefore, urged them to put their total trust in God and not in any man, with an addition that God is for everyone.
