Hello Honourable Fountaineers,

Hope you are enjoying God’s Unflinching Mercy. Our Sunday service on July 19 was great. Here is the summary of Pastor Taiwo’s message for you to stay connected to God’s word for this season.

TOPIC: A NEW SONG

Every promise of God is a prophecy and declaration of the future of God’s children because it allows them to begin to adjust their mindsets towards a better future. When GOD says HE has put a new song in your mouth, it is because He will do some miracles for you that would marvel anyone who sees or hears of your testimony.

This new song will create wonder, amazement and fear among the people. God has a way of taking you through challenges and making you a wonder in your environment. If God has given you a promise for this year, please hold on to it. It will come to pass because God is not a liar, He has given you victory regardless of the situation (Psalm 40:3).

GOD’S ATTITUDE TO HIS PROMISE

– His faithfulness (Genesis 28:12-15). He will fulfil what He has promised. He will not leave you until HE does that.

– His integrity (Numbers 23:19). God does not lie or change HIS mind. GOD will make good what HE has said. He will always do HIS part

GOD will not only make happen what He has promised you, but He will also secure and make it permanent.

YOUR ATTITUDE TOWARDS GOD’S PROMISE

  • Faith (Hebrews 6:12). Believe that GOD is able to do what HE has said. What you are going through does not stop what God has spoken. Do not waver and don’t let your belief in GOD’S ability to be weakened but strengthen it by Faith (Romans 4:19-21)
  • Patience – Patiently wait for the manifestation knowing that HE will do it in HIS time. He gives a promise based on the end and not on the struggles you are going through. So, be expectant. What is happening does not change God.
  • Give glory to GOD (2 Chronicles 20:12). Even before the manifestation of the promise, approach the battle singing. Worship and give God the glory. Your focus us Jesus (Acts 16:25)
  • Have a relationship. A relationship with God opens your eyes continually to the endless promises and faithfulness of God. Live in the expectation that what GOD says will soon come to pass.
