The 2021 Edition of the Word Explosion Conference, #WEC2021, an annual conference organized by The Fountain of Life Church, started on a high note as Pastor (Dr) Andrew Osakwe, the Senior Pastor of Summit Bible Church, Abuja, opened the conference with a spirit-filled and inspiring message in line with the conference’s theme; Possessing Your Possessions.

Pastor Andy, as he is popularly called, said at the Monday, April 12 service that believers need to understand what their possessions are in order to be able to possess them. According to him, believers receive an inheritance from God through Christ Jesus at the point of salvation – which is their birthright. However, because the enemy, the devil, has illegally stolen this right, believers now need to repossess those possessions back.

The clergy, who is also the Founder of Andrew Osakwe Ministries International, cited the books of John 16:14, Matthew 6:13, Luke 12:32, 1 Corinthians 3:21-22, and Haggai 2:7 to further reveal to the congregation that believers have inherited all things that God has. He further added that they have the right to those possessions.

In his words, “Whatever belongs to the Father, belong to Jesus and whatever belongs to Jesus belongs to you as a joint-heir with Christ. You have been authorized and anointed to go on a repossession mission, to take back what the devil has illegally taken.”

Also speaking from 1 John 5:1; and Romans 8:16, Pastor Osakwe added that God’s grace delivers the inheritance to believers, but we need faith to gain access to our inheritance. He further revealed that believers need to have the right mindset, attitude, and confessions to repossess their possessions from the enemy.

“For every inch of ground you want to gain, you must fight the good fight of faith. Whatever is delivered by grace, you must fight by faith to access,” he said. He concluded his message by admonishing all believers to have the same confession as Christ by saying what God has already said.

Pastor Andy Osakwe urged, “Speak the same thing that God speaks. Speak in harmony with God and reclaim your possessions from the enemy. God never speaks fear or confusion, so you should never confess them. Don’t deny the fact but don’t emphasize it; emphasize the truth, which is the word of God”.
